Sitting at 8990' in elevation and about 100 yards up the road to the old ski area off of highway 12 in Cuchara Colorado sits the Cuchara office for Capture Colorado Mountain Properties LLC. and Cuchara's Higher Ground Coffee bar. Capture Colorado, owned and operated by Jacky Christian, has been in business since 2002 and has listed and sold some of the finest properties in Southern Colorado.
Cuchara's Higher Ground coffee bar has been in business since Sept. 2019. The coffee bar serves breakfast burritos, sandwiches, Amish Fry Pies, pastries and all of your favorite coffee drinks and sells and serves only Black Rifle Coffee. BRCC is a company owned and operated by veterans with a portion of Black Rifles proceeds going to military, Police, Fire and EMS organizations.
A portion of Cuchara's Higher Ground proceeds go to various ministry organizations such as The LA Dream Center, Samaritans Purse and Operation Restored Warrior to name just a few.
